hi everyone....yes I went up that blue mountains railway in the photo, it was so steep, quite scary, but only lasted about 30 seconds!

So we had our goodbye meal in the sydney tower, which was nice, the food was ok, not great, but a nice buffet. The actual bit that revolves is the seated bit, so one minute your going slowly past the toilets, then the buffet, it was a strange feeling, and loads of people were coming back from the toilets and getting lost! it was a nice end to a great jam packed week. After the meal, Mark our leader from oz intro took us through the botanical gardens one last time, for a group photo with the opera house and bridge in the background, a lot of people were getting quite emotional! but I think because I've been in Sydney so long now, and had the chance to "go it alone" and realised actually I could easily do this on my own, made loads of friends before my Oz intro bunch came out, I was'nt too emotional. It felt weird saying bye to everyone though! A large portion of them have now moved to hostels in central sydney. I am still in the minging hostel in coogee, I'm in with Ricky and some people from the 6th jan oz intro group.

So the plan is...We are in coogee until the morning of Friday 16th jan, when me and ricky fly to Adelaide from Sydney airport at 6.15am!! a load of the girls are on the same flight as us, but won't be travelling the great ocean road to melbourne until Monday 19th jan. Me and Ricky are going to book into a hostel for the day/might in Adelaide, then we head of on our adventure down the Gt.ocean road on Sat 17th jan. I think it'll take 3-5 days, then we hit Melbourne. We have booked tickets to the Australian tennis open, which we are quite excited about, and guess when we have booked them for???1 AUSTRALIA DAY! lol 26th Jan. So that could either be a good or bad thing, but we'll have a top day whatever. I am praying Federer will be playing, I think he is gorrrgeous! lol. I will also await the girls arrivals and do the neighbours tour/night with them, as I have promised Rach I will do it with her so she can stalk Karl Kenedy, aka DR.K!! and his band. I think we will all be looking for work in Melbourne, and try to get some of our rural work, eg fruit picking/packing etc out of the way, as it counts towards getting a 2nd year visa. We might also look into a flat share, as this would be a cheaper option, and I am dying to walk round naked!! (you know Jess!!! lol I always get ready naked...its gota be done!) It will be nice to have your own space though. So we are bumming around coogee for a few days really! or taking "admin days" as ricky likes to call them. Tues 13th, had an admin day, ricky burnt his eyelids, which swelled up (just like yours mama!!! haha) I burnt my pants line. In the evening we went for dinner in china town, and then took a walk to darling harbour, had some ice cream. Wanted to see australia at the cinema, but it wernt on!! Today I was going to take him and some of the girls to the home and away set again, palm beach, but couldnt be arsed to wake up! so having another admin day today, but trying to keep his face and my belly out of the sun! So I think tonight we are going for some drinks in darling harbour with some old pals I met in wake up when i first arrived, who, ofcourse! are all missing me loads lol, and probably some peeps from our room. We are off to palm beach tomorrow, thurs 15th, then we have our last evening before we head off early next day! I am really excited about proper travelling, I'll probably end up binning even more of my stuff, it's so hard to carry when your small! Ricky finds it hysterical that my feet swing when im sitting at a bus stop or on a bus, because my legs are so small. lol lanky larry that he is!

A brief toe update for you all, there is an awful photo on facebook of my busted toes from welsh carl jumping on them during a heated dance-off in CBH (coogee beach hotel) which we call GBH, or BHS, because nobody can flipping remember the acronym for the damn place! so you can all see how bad it actually was! It's ok now though, I went in the sand yesterday and they dont hurt or anything, so dont panic mummy xx

So thats it really so far, the next time I write, I will no doubt be in Adelaide, or more likely...Melbourne. I'll try to get some more photos on soon, it just takes soooo long! Having a great time, hope everyone back home is well.
