Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone and what an alternative one weve had! Christmas day was Bondi Beach in the morning although you will be glad to hear it wasnt that warm but still it would have been a crime not to! We decided as we wouldnt be getting many prezzies this year we would do a secret santa between the four of us a prize for the tackiest. ! got tammy some Koala bear slippers saying i love australia on them and a sparkly sanat clause handbag ( well at leat i thought it was a handbag i later realised it was a door hanger Gutted!!) in return she got me a Koala bear book mark a phone charm and one of those gold chinese cats that waves its hand youll see on the pictures i really have always wanted one!! Jamie and Heiki both bought each other exactly the same a hat with corks dangling off it a stubby and a pen Jamie got the croc pen for those of you who dont know who croc is, its Jamies imaginary friend who now lives in Australia Zoo. So tackiest present had to be either the cat or the so called handbag!

Christmas dinner consisted of Fish Chips and a good old cup of tea it was nice but mums christmas dinner would have been much more appreciated (i hope theres a plate in the freezer for me ha ha)

Later on we went to the orphans christmas party in Bondi pavillian and as you can see we all got very merry and a had a great day!! Needless to say boxing Day was a bit of a quiet one!

In between christmas and new year we have moved back into the city and are stayin in Kings cross! Ive never seen so many Strip joints and prostitues in all my life i feel like we are in amsterdam! the Fire alarm went off at 3am the other morning (ring any bells amanda and sam) so it was just grab whatever clothes you could!

New years eve was amazing we wer told to makesure we got there early to get a good spot so we made our picnic up the night before (we had enough sandwiches to feed the five thousand) and arrived at about 10am thinking we would be one of the first there and i was heaving!! as usual Heiki and Jamie had ther moan and groan once they were fed and waterd they were ok, after an hour of quing we were sat in our spot the 14 hour wait was definatly worth it, the fireworks were absolutly amazing, i couldnt stop crying it was really overwhelming this new year will be a really hard one to beat!
