hey guys! well we have arrived in Sydney and its just lovley we are a little jet lagged but no worried there! We went for a stroll around Darling Harbour when we arrived taking in the sites, it was so funny as everyone was on their works xmas do's and its summer? it just dosnt seem right?? After a very restless nights sleep we went to check out that bloody great big bridge weve got to climb next week, it looks alot bigger than the pictures, so we are doing lots of walking to get in training the fitness level has definatly gone down since all that running at home!! We walked around Sydney harbour for what seemed like only an hour or so taking it all in watching the street entertainment etc but we were there all day with big grins on our faces it was just so sureal we both couldnt quite belive we were ther!

The day after we decided on going to manly beach but we overheard someone talking about thunderstorms i thought my ears were cheating me, any way sure enough we woke up this morning to wind rain and even cold!!!

After a few minuites of thought we decided on taronga zoo! and what a good idea it was, its the best zoo ever! we saw everything from koalas to kangaroos and all those in between and a few we never knew exsisted. We had a great day and the rainheld off almost until we got back in the city, when it absolutly poured it down and didnt stop for about 4 hours im sat in my jacket writing this.

Walking back to the hostel we saw all this comotion outsided the theatre so we weent to have a nosey, we had seen a sign earlier in the week saying welcome nicole kidman to the premier of the golden compass but we thought it had passed as it was already out in thailand, but sure enough judt as i managed to squeeze to the front nicole kidman comes down the red carpet i was so excited! I was then waiting for Robbie williams as they did that single together i thought he might make an appearance but i was out of luck, Sorry gemma and deborah the hunt goes on!!

But Nicole Kidman eh thats a claim to fame if i ever had one!

Tonight we are being very british and going to the pub to wtch man u beat liverpool heiki will kill me for writing this but he never writes the blog so i choose what goes on it ha ha.
