Today we awoke early again and made our way to Yosemite National park. The longer I stay in America the more I realise how much Americans talk, there is no sitting in a companionable silence. Blahdy blah blah blah, in saying that I guess it's good for Phil and I because we suck at starting conversation, he's shy and I'm just a b****y looking person. Yosemite was gorgeous with beautiful wildlife and trees. Although a big tourist attraction, once you hike a fair distance the people tend to become more and more scarce. Again we found ourselves rock climbing over massive boulders to reach the bottom of the Yosemite falls. Finally as we reached the top i took in a deep breath, the view was absolutely spectacular! Along the way we found ourselves face to face with some extremely interesting creatures. SQUIRRELS!!!! Yay! There was signage up everywhere exclaiming don't feed the squirrels! But i found personally that it really could not be helped! They were to cute! So along I went sharing my cheese with a hefty fellow, sneaking in a few pats on the way just made my day! After Yosemite we made our way to Mariposa Grove, here lives some of the biggest trees I have ever seen called Sequoia. Again if you ever find yourself in California look up this place it is not to be missed. The hike took us until nightfall to complete and we had to drive back to San Francisco so we jumped into the car and drove like the wind back to Modesto to drop our new friends off then back to San Fran we went! All in all our trip to California was awesome I just sucks that we didn't get to see a wild Bear, oh well next time!
