The people have become extremely nice again! What was wrong with Florida?? Any who so I'm spending two days in Washington but now I've realised I need much more time. There are tonnes of Smithsonian Museums to see, many memorials to Presidents or people that have the pride of America behind them and beautifully kept old buildings spread all over D.C. I decided to split my time up wisely so on the first day I ventured to a little place called Georgetown which to my understanding is the capitals historic waterfront. Here I walked along the water did a little shopping and bought myself the biggest burrito I have ever laid eyes on! On the second day I took the Day in DC tour with the grey line tour company. I toured the Capital building which is thought of to be the centre of DC and basically you can see this building from almost anywhere in the city. They then took us to see the front lawn of the White House but unfortunately people were doing construction work on the building and I thought it was a real shame that I couldn't see it in full force! On we went to see the World War II memorial and the Martin Luther King memorial but again repairs were underway on the massive King statue so I couldn't see it. At one point I had to choose which Smithsonian Museum to see and in the end I choose the National America History, I was extremely excited to see Dorothy's original slippers, OH and of course Kermit the frog! Let me tell you I was pooped after all the site seeing! Time for some well earned rest! Kelly for President!
