Phuket Island was around 2 hours South of Khao Lak so we went there straight after the dive trip. We were dropped in town and advised the port was 1km walk "that way"! After sorting out the accommodation we headed to the port to sort out our transfer to Phi Phi Island. 1km my a**e! After much walking we discovered the port was 10km out of town! Fortunately we hadn't got that far so left it for the next day by Taxi!
