Today was our last day in Paris and was a free one to do as we wished (and we certainly made the most of it). We started at the Louvre and just picked the main sights like the Venus de Milo and the Mona Lisa. The day started early with a tour of the city sights by bus, finishing with a visit to the second level of the Eiffel Tower. The views from this level were great however Brad wanted to go to the very top. Fortunately the guide convinced him that it would be at least a four hour wait to get the ticket and that was not the time we could afford. Maybe next time we are in Paris. We are so excited to have arrived in Paris. Seems strange that the airport appears to be in the middle of farmland. We were transferred to our hotel at the Hilton Arc de Triomphe - very nice - but as it was only 9am our rooms would not be ready for a few hours so we decided to start our sightseeing.
