Today we drove to Jaipur (Pink City) which is the capital of Rajasthan. After lunch we both went for a massage, Cam got a really good massage from the owner of the place but I didn't think mine was the great! The one in Africa was much much better! I got some henna after the massage which was interesting, it took the lady hardly anytime to do the design on my arm. We went back to the hotel afterwards as the henna had to be left on for 2 hrs. It was a long 2 hrs trying not to pick it off!lol. Think I preferred it afore it came off but it still looked ok. We went to Nahargarh (Tiger Fort) to watch the sunset, we got great views of the city, which is huge!! It was spoilt a bit by people wanting to take loads of pictures of us. There was Indian girls dancing in the restaurant where we had dinner, they were really good. We joined them for one dance which was hilarious!! Must say we ain't quite as good as them!lol. After dinner we went to the Raj Mandir cinema which is meant to be 'the' place to see a Hindi film. It was an interesting experience, they cheer and clap when exciting things happen during the film. It was part English and part Hindi so managed to get the gist of what was going on!

We got a guide and did some sightseeing today. We went to the Janter Manter which is an observatory with huge sculptures which are all to do with astronomy. They had the biggest sundial in the world. Next we went to City Palace which included museums of royal attire, weapons and an art gallery where we got a demonstration from one of the artists. The palace also had two huge silver pots which are the largest silver vessels in the world. And last but not least we visited the Amber Fort which was really beautiful.
