So I am finally on my way to Melbourne. Casey and I partied a little much to celebrate my going and I still feel a little sick.
Went to the chocolate factory early in the week. They gave us lots of tasters and went through how the chocolate is made. It was really good chocolate. Kept humming songs from Charlie and the chocolate factory, but Charlie from the hostel didn't make it to the tour in time.
Thursday was goon and The Duke again. Drank a little much and may have made an ass out of myself, again, but ended up putting myself to bed by 1 so I could go on the wine tour the next day.
The Groove Grapes Wine tour to Barossa Valley was a lot of fun. The bus ride out was rough since Casey and I were hungover. There was a lookout on the way with the worlds largest rocking horse. There was also a cage with cockatoos at this lookout. One of the white ones was so large I called it a chicken. It didn't like that so it jumped on the wall of the cage, stead it's giant chicken wings, raised its feathers, and squawked painfully loudly until we retreated. My head did not appreciate it.
The first winery was Jacob's Creek. Very classy considering I thought it was a cheaper wine back home. Felt great after that first bit of wine. We had a BBQ at Kies winery, where we got a bottle of wine to have with our kangaroo steaks. The kangaroo was AMAZING. This was also my favorite winery. It reminded me of the Abbott brewery in San Diego. The next two places were nice, but I didn't remember the names of them. At the last one, John, one of the guys on our tour, let all of us taste the 100 year old wine that he got. It was good but the taste was so strong I can't imagine drinking more than a sip. Anyways, once back at the hostel, we were drinking more goon but were put on time out after a small incident with a broken chair and a baseball bat flying. Don't ask...
Today was a lovely send off. We went to see Malificent. Soooooo good. Now I am on the bus to Melbourne. There is an orchestra of snoring and one of the girls next to me keeps screaming in her dreams. Weird.

Ah-ma-ma I enjoy reading your blog. Be careful out there and cut down on the vino! You'll have to go into rehab when you get home. Soon!
