After recovering from Sexpo, which took a couple days, I set about getting life in order. Mostly trying to make plans, going for runs, seeing some of the sights.
The Botanical Gardens are gorgeous but I was mauled by mosquitoes again so I am avoiding it. Finally took that bike ride down the river to the beach. This beach reminded me more of Huntington. There was a boardwalk with a bike path, the water was cold and not as clear as the East coast, there was seaweed, and it smelled just a little. The river trail is still pretty and I have been running down it as much as I can. Toward the end there are horse pastures so I took a pic of one of the white ones and yelled " I'm not a mare, I'm a UN-I-CORN!" I make myself laugh.
Went out and drinking and saw a live band at the Duke. Crazy night. Also went to see Xmen: days of Future Past. So Good.
