I woke up and saw the sun rise over Fiji this morning. It was impossible to describe. Last night I had dhal for dinner and enjoyed a wonderful kava ceremony where we drank kava, a native social drink in Fiji. Everyone says "bula!" Everywhere you go and I am trying to figure out if it means hello or welcome or the exact translation since it seems to be said for everything.
On a cruiser right now to Waya Lai Lai. These islands are secluded and each only 1-10 km around. I can't wait to get into the ocean, it is so clear and pretty. I wonder if it is as warm as Queensland ocean?
