Yesterday was our last day in Venice unfortunately. We started the day out by heading to the beach to get some sun. Once again another beautiful day. We have been so lucky with the weather this trip. Today was an awesome day. Venice is probably the most beautiful place I have ever been. I love it here. There is no other place like it. We left our first hotel here this morning around 10 and headed to the apartment we have for 2 nights. The apartment is so cute! We did some exploring and found some markets to buy some things to cook dinner with later. Today takes the cake for most uncomfortable train rides of my life. We left Paris this morning around 7:30. We got on our train that we didn't have seats for. How they can sell you tickets and not have anywhere for you to go is beyond me. I have never felt more like a stowaway. We hung out in the dining car for a bit and then tried to look for an open seat somewhere because standing for 7 hours wasn't going to cut it. We were not the only ones who had nowhere to ...
