OK, just a quickie. I'm presently in Kilkenny, which was mostly accidental. I got sweet-talked by someone into visiting the Comedy Festival they have on here. I just got back from a show featuring Adam Hills (from Spicks and Specks) and myself. I was stupidly helpful: "Yes, let's help out the poor, struggling Australian comedian and put my hand up when he asks whether there are any Aussies in the crowd". I had to do a fashion show to prove that the Irish can't dress for summer properly. And then I must have caught his interest, 'cause he talked to us from on-stage for about 5 minutes. I don't know if I was helping him out or what, but the rest of the audience seemed to think I was funny.

I'm in a car now. I was expecting to be in a Ford Focus, which I presume is a box on wheels, but I got the "Or similar" that they threatened was a possibility. The "or similar" is awesome! It's a sporty Peugeot thing (708?) that gets 1400km to the tank!

Dublin was OK, but there were too many people, I'm glad to have moved on. I've subsequently got friendler and more sociable with folk and am enjoying myself more. I even had a couple of Guinesses and they went down pretty easy (no nice, cold bottles of Coke yet Tim ;).

Sorry, I'm not more interesting (again), but I'm going to another show in a minute with Danny Bhoy and a bunch of other comedians.
