Hi Alison, since you haven't added to your blog for a few days, I would imagine you decided to stay at the nudist camp for a while. Be careful if you are frying anything 'cause spatter burns could be nasty !!! (he he he)We are all fine over here. Enjoy the rest of your trip won't be too long till you have company. Can't wait till you reach Peru and visit the relations !! ........Love Agnes XXX

By the way Miss MacCallum...what's this I hear about you dancing on a NUDIST beach?!?!?!?!
Were you in your Birthday suit as well?
Laura
Hello wee bush tucker woman!!
How's Australia??? I agree with Stewart...you have to go to Erinsborough and Summer Bay. You never know you might even get a walk on part in Neighbours as Harold Bishops long lost relative from Scotland! Are you going to pay a visit to Australia Zoo or the Great Barrier Reef? Have you seen any wombats or koalas yet?
I was over at Stewart and Annmarie's for my dinner the other week there so there was good food and gossiping. Not up to much else, work is going well and I'm addicted to Big Brother as per usual over the summer months. It's Margaret and Bruce's Golden Wedding in a few weeks so I'll be dog / cat sitting for the weekend when my mum and dad go up to that. Adam Caley is getting married soon as well. Nothing else to report.
Cheerio the now!

Hi alison,
Looks like australia is pretty cool. You are certainly seeing lots of scenery and wildlife. Have you not made it to erinsburgh or summer bay yet?????!!!!! Are you going to try and make it to ularu? It would be amazing too see that. So hows the fosters, xxxx and vb beer?!
Mum and dad were up last weekend and with annmarie and me we went to the art galleries (didnt see the swordfish although they always have to rotate displays) and they quite enjoyed their wee wander round, we then went to the transport museum which dad enjoyed especially the aa call box which had an inveraray sign on it and the fancy old cars. We then went for dinner and the park bar. Dad really enjoyed the music in there and doreen came out as well for the night. They enjoyed their wee weekend away. We then went to see auntie ella on the sunday she was looking really well and asking for you. She now has a fancy new digital plasma telly and is enjoying the extra channels. Colin and karen have moved into the new house. Annmarie and I are going to see gruff rhys in the old fruitmarket this saturday night which i am looking forward too. There is a new scottish singer you would really like called amy mcdonald(katy tunstall/sandi thom ish) so if you get the chance listen out for her.
Hope to hear more adventures soon

Hi Alison, Glad your having a great time. We have just returned from Aranmore after a fantasticly sunny 6 days. Kids were in the sea swimming, as was Evie and Terri. Flying kites walking to shops, pebble beach and obviously a few hidious hills up, up ,up the island. The boys and Helen were also doing abit of jogging. Don't worry they will ease you back into the running on your return. The kids think the best part of the whole holiday was hitching a lift in the back of Rory's pickup truck... strange what kids class as the best experience of their hols!! I even managed to do two dives which were my first in 2 years.Cara can now swim without arm bands since our trip to Mallorca and thankfully we missed all the hullabaloo at Glasgow airport. Jane and Anna are caravanning in France for 12 days and they have been texting me photos on a regular basis so I don't feel left out. We hope to spend the last weekend of the school holidays camping in Arisaig.. but think we will see what the weather is to be like before we confirm. With having such a nice time in Ireland we plan to go back in October... just think Cara will be such a big school girl by then. Need to get out there and get the uniforms bought. Jean Marie is staying with us for a week while her mums in Bulgaria and Jean is always asking the latest news of you.
The sticky dots are going up on the map of the world fast and furious as your hopping around the globe, and the kids are enjoying discussing were you are and what your getting up to.

Dear Alson, You seem to be having an incredible trip and doing so well. Many thanks for the various post cards you have sent us from the different countries you have visited.....much appreciated.
We had a great time over our Golden Wedding celebrations but missed you at our party in the Crutherland Hotel. The family have given us a trip to Barcelona in August as a present and we are looking forward greatly to that. Our summer has been pretty poor so far so we envy you some of the heat you are experiencing.
Do try to make your way to my sister's in Invercargill. You would get a very warm welcome there.
Keep going and keep well.
With Love, Tony and Isabel

Hi Alison,
How are you getting on out there in the bush, been chased by any kangaroos or emus yet? My Australian chase was a black swan, we were walking along the path of the Black Swan river in Perth and this swan started flapping its wings and then swiftly made its way out of the water and made a bee line for me,I didn't hang around for long, was off like a shot.
Got the last of my gear today, there was a sale on in Blacks, not often I get a bargain, got some base layer gear for age 13yrs. fits just fine & oh! so! cosy £6.99p not bad, would you like me to get you anything? You should see my front bedroom, you would think I was going on a polar expedition but it is all packing down very neatly, quite impressed with myself, my toilet bag is usually bigger than my case but I'm on a steep learning curve in that department.
Weather is still rotten, think they are classing it as the "soggiest summer on record". We have a Hover Craft trial on the go at the moment, it is crossing from Kirkcaldy to Potobello, bus takes you up to Edinburgh centre,20 minute crossing, £4.50p return or free with your bus pass, be interesting to see how it develops.
Got William coming up on 6th August, his mum & dad will follow him up on the 11th, it's going to be all family from the beginning of August until I leave so my deadline for having everything ready is 31st July, watch this space as they say.
Look forward to your next installment & photos, safe, happy travels.
Love, Jan xx
