looks like you are busy seeing the sights. . Looking at your previous pics and your new ones, with all the animals and considering the recent sad demise of steve irwin you could be the new "croc botherer"!!!!
Glad your having a good time.

Hey Alison, Stewart has just told me about this site. It is fantastic and such a great way to keep up-to-date with your travels. You have done so much and seem to be enjoying every minute of it which is great! Well Stuart and I are getting married 4 weeks on sat!! Can't believe how quickly it has come around but it will be great to have all the family together again (just wish you could be there but I am sure you will be having a better time where you are!!!). Jean, Rod and the girls were home from America for a few weeks and were up visiting your mum and dad one night but I am sure they will have filled you in. The girls are really big now and I seen a huge change in them since they were over 5 years ago! Anyway, spending all my time with wedding arrangements and pipebands so things are very hectic at the moment but I am really looking forward to a well deserved honeymoon in Malaysia on the 3rd of Sept. We are going to Langkawi, have you been there? I just can't wait to get away, relax and get some sun!!! Anyway, so nice to hear about your adventure, take care. Love Eilidh x

not going to go for that interview in east renfrewshire, back/side step again so not worth my while.

Hi Alison,
Made it to Cairns, well done is Ayers Rock next on your agenda? What a fantastic journey you'll be too busy taking it all in to sit down at a computer but hopefully you'll manage some photos soon.
Have booked the youth hostel in Christchurch, going up market from sleeping in the bush give you a chance to wash off some of the red dust!!
Had a good evening at the Proms with Av. & Diane, they wouldn't let me sing though.
See you very soon.
Love, Jan xx

can't wait till you get back and show us all how to prepare boab tree roots - I'm told they are delicious (Similar in texture to water chestnuts, and sweet and crunchy like the core of a carrot)
Will you have a chance to train it across I believe their is a train from Darwin to Adelaide it's only 2979km? (probably takes slightly less time than Scotrail travelling from southside to Glasgow)
If in Darwin - try to visit the World War II Oil Storage Tunnels below the Esplanade on Kitchener Drive (look for a path and stairs down) although boring sounding - huge tunnels that have been hand dug during WWII to serve as safe oil storage tanks - they are nearly something like a museum with over hundred black and white photos from the area adorning the walls and apparently very impressive.
get some photos up woman (nudist beach photos can wait till youre back :-))

Hi alison,
so whats new??? Annmarie, Laura and myself went to the trocabrahma concert(featuring gruff rhys, king creosoteand brazilian dancers and artists) at the old fruit market on sat nite. It was great, got a set list from gruffs show and we enjoyed the acts plus the dancers(would have given you a taste of what to expect in south america. We really enjoyed the set. Had a spare place on the guest listwith annmarie but nobodyn else wanted to go!! Dont know what they missed. Got a job interview for east renfrewshire council next week so will let you know how that goes. Kinda side step again but better money so worth a shot. Mum and dad had davie stewart down for the weekend there so i think they had a nice weekend.
