Was a bit scared about flying to the middle east on the way to Delhi but turns out that Oman air was the best plane journey i've been on, and they gave me three free meals!!! Didn't leave the airport in Muscat as were only there for two hours, but there were lots of mountains to look at through the airport window.

We arrived in Delhi at about 2.30pm and were picked up in a hotel car which took us right through the centre so we got to experience the craziness of Delhi drivers! I was just as amazed by the crazy driving and busy streets as the first time I came here, but the weather is far less hot which made it easier to take things in.

The hotel helped us plan a route and book hotels and trains for the rest of our stay as they could probably see how clueless we are. We forgot to barter the price down from what the man told us but were just relieved and happy that we have a plan for the rest of our time in India...and its a much better deal than booking a tour from the UK.

After having my fifth meal of the day, we went to our room, had a shower under the tap because the shower head doesnt work and then slept right through the night.
