We arrived in Jaipur in the afternoon and checked into our hotel. The hotel was realllllly nice, the bed had a memory foam mattress, double shower and right outside our room was the swimming pool. The staff were really friendly as well and once we'd settled in we went out with Mahesh (our driver) to see the Lakshmi Narayan temple. This was a Hindi temple made completely from marble with one big statue as the main focus. After walking around we sat on the floor inside for a while with the other Indian ladies. I didn't feel that peaceful there though as a security guard was stood at the front talking on his phone.

Later that evening we went to a restaurant the driver recommended to us and sat ourside by a fire and watched Indian folk dancing. The women danced with up to 5 pots balanced on their heads spinning around really fast, and the man was eating fire. They made me and laura get up and dance as well which was pretty cringey but the food was lush and i had a kofta curry and two rotis.
