Yesterday we hired bikes and cycled to the ecological reserve, which was reckless and ridiculous but sort of fun! Navigating through the madness of the road was interesting and a lot of th cycle paths were closed for renovation so we had to take many a detour and a dash across a busy road as lgihts don´t tend too indicate much! So we are now in our new hostel which is really nice and relaxing, much more homely than the last with nice places to sit and chill out and we´ve met many more people now. Last night we went out for a meal to a restaurant recommended by the lonely planet and it was literally the worst meal I have ever eaten. The restaurant itself wasn´t even nice but we thought there must be something about it for it to be recommended so we stuck it out despite strip lighting and warm white wine. However the steak I ordered was so disgusting I only ate half, all stringy and covered in fat I´m not even convinced it was beef as I´ve never seen it ...

Today there was a huge market in all the streets surrounding our hostel so we explored that and bought little bits, including a sun hat for me as I was worried about burning my parting and having a sore head! But then it got cloudy and rained for a bit but it was quite nice because it was still really hot. We have just arrived in our hostel after 24 hours of travelling! It´s very hot so I had a cold shower and am now in shorts! The bus ride from the airport was long but very cheap and it was interesting to see Buenos Aires develop from suburbs into the horrible part of town and finally the nice part of town where we are staying which was a relief!
