My last blog ended with me preparing for the Chicken bus!! This is basically an old american school bus, which has been painted bright colours and is packed full! They allow chickens on, hence the name!! I didn´t see any chickens though, very upsetting. We went to the Chichi market, which is huge. It was so colourful but the constant pestering was a tad annoying. I bought a couple of bits, a scarf, a hairclip for Jaz that type of thing. We then got a private van to our hotel on Lake Atitlan. I am sharing with Nancy again. We went for a walk to the main street which is loads of markets again. I bought a few little bits again, but not too much. We then had a meal at an Asian restaurant, which was really yummy! I had chicken chow mein!! Twas very good. The next day myself, rhiannon, april, fred, johnny and debra went on a boat trip to San Pedro and Santiago. There wasn´t much to do there but we went to the shrien of massimo, which is possibly the weirdest thing i hav ever seen. It was a clay mask surrounded by ties which smoked cigarettes. The place also stank of smoke whioch wasn´t too good. We got back at lunch time and wandered around again, before heading back to the hotel for a yoga lesson!! Ana, is a yoga instructor, so was teaching us some basic bits. We then went had drinks on the rooftop until dinner where we went to a vegetarian restaurant. Again it was very nice!! We got up quite late the next day (today!! I can´t believe this is finally up to date) as we had a private bus take us to Antigua. We arrived around lunch time, checked into the hotel and met the new guy who is joining the others for the next part of the tour. We went to a delicious bagel shop for lunch and then came back to the hotel to relax!! That is all for now!! I can´t beleive that i am back in present time!!
