Following a brief stop off at Rockhampton we headed to Yeppoon. The highlight of this little stop was going to a crocodile farm out in the middle of nowhere. We did a tour with the most annoying woman in the world (we were very tempted to push her into one of the enclosures) but saw some pretty cool, and huge, crocs. We even ended up holding one, though as you can see in the pictures it's not exactly a monster.

We then started to head up to Mackay but I (Jack) managed to drive into a post halfway there and wrap the bumper right around it. It looked awful and we couldn't even move the car; cue small panic attack! However, this really nice guy stopped by and pulled a tool kit out of the back of his car and proceeded to dismantle the mess and put the van back together again. Turns out the damage wasn't nearly as bad as it looked - the bumper just sprang straight back into place. Still we've since been stuck in Mackay waiting for a new part for the last couple of days. The place is a boring dump, can't wait to get away!
