We've been in Mission Beach for a few days intending to do what we always do and chillax on the beach. Unfortunately, the marine stingers, crocodiles, and sandflies scared us off. The place we're staying has the BESTEST swimming pool in the world ever though so it's ok. A slide, a fountain, a replica crocodile; what more could you ask for?! We've also been for a trek in the rainforest (well 2km along a path) which was pretty cool but full of mozzies. We were trying to find Cassoraries, a rare emu like bird with huge claws and a mean temper no luck though.
