Just a quick update ! We're actually in Amsterdam now but the last few days in Belgium were great. We did a day trip to Bruge on the train. It is so green and looks like a town from medieval times due to the cobble stone streets and all the horse and carriages around. It was really picturesque walking around the town and over the little canals. We ate lunch in the centre surrounded by old buildings and the weather was beaut! We also ventured through the quaint town for some chocolate to give to Laura's family as a thank you present. They really appreciated the huge block of thick chocolate, and the mix bag of assorted truffles.

We also tried Belgian waffles, straight after Laura finished her exam on Tuesday. It was quite an experience. You could customise your own waffle so I chose white chocolate, Nutella and strawberries. It was so unbelievably sweet but such a perfect combination. It was so gooey as my Nutella and white chocolate melted into the warm waffle.

All in all, Belgium was great. It was so nice to have our own beds in a house, and have dinner cooked for us. I really am loving Amsterdam though and the Van Gogh museum was awesome.
