hey,
having such a great time in Auckland its weird how easy and how quick it is to meet a lot of people. After meeting the 2 people from Southampton we arranged to go out in the evening but when we got back to the dorm it had been filled with even more people, one from Byfleet just down the road from me at home, very bizarre indeed. In the end, 7 of us went to bar minus 5. We had an hour long session in the bar and had to be kitted out with massive coats and little boots. the bar is literally entirely made of ice, floors, cahirs, tables and it pretty much only serves vodka cocktails coz its the only spirit that doesnt freeze!

After the bar we came back to the hostel and made a lot of noise in the dorm til very late which was a wee bit selfish of us but everyone was just having a great time.

Booked the next bit of my journey in NZ on the Kiwi Experience doing all the major stops on both islands and I'm travelling with Vicky from my room so I'll have someone I know which is awesome. Don't get on the kiwi til monday though so I'm thinking of going north to the bay of islands over the weekend, I've heard its really pretty and a must do thing.

Sort of wasted today washing all of my clothes, wandering round the shops and sleeping (oh yeah and a much needed trip to the doctors to get my burn wound sorted coz it got quite gross). Feel ready to move on now though because if I stay here much longer I'm going to be persuaded into doing a bungee jump off the top of Sky Tower! its amazing how quick you get caught by the travel bug, 3 days staying put just feels boring hehe.
