Hello from wellington, capital of new Zealand. We left river Valley for Wellington and spent 4 nights exploring the capital. i was a bit worried there wouldn't be much to do but we it was really nice to settle and make home for just a few days. Our first day was spent doing some much needed shopping and I managed to spend more than I could afford on clothes and trainers but I'm now prepared for the colder weather down south. Had a few quiet evenings in with the TV which has been a nice change. On Sunday we went to Te papa Museum which was awesome. The best exhibition was the Lord of The Rings which had all the costumes, weapons and minatures used in the trilogy and loads of clips of the making of the films which was good, but I think jack would have appreciated it much more than me. After the museum we met up with some friends, Sky and Jon for coffee whilst it rained for the rest of the day. on our final day we took the cable car up to the top of wellington where there's a great view of the city and we looked around the Botanic gardens. I've really fallen for Wellington, its a great place and has everything you need all in one place, but think I would get bored living here all the time. Next stop: South Island!!
