Our travelling experience has been very different over the last few days as we've hit the Thailand Islands! More of a holiday resort with plush hotels, beach-goers all done up and raving nightlife, Koh Samui is completely different to the backpacker destinations we've become used to. At first I wasn't so impressed, however I soon grew to really enjoy the place after the discoveries of how beautiful the beaches are and the fantastic night market where the food is to die for and so cheap! We really got in to the nightlife too and I had such a good time in the clubs, of which there are many. The Thailand Islands are definitely a place to have fun but we also made the most of our time by each getting a massage. I chose an hour-long back, shoulders and head massage and it was the first I've ever had. It was extremely enjoyable as well as being intense, my back feels sore today! We have travelled by boat, bus and tuk tuk today to get to our next stop so will be back on here in 2 days time:)
