Crossed the border back into Peru - my last crossing in South America! Got to Puno and walked up a hill to get a view of the city and lake Titicaca. We got warned by a random woman not to go far because we would get robbed! The view was amazing though. Had alpaca steak for dinner - it was so good, I would definitely have it again. The next day we went out on the lake. Firstly we went to the Uros islands - artificial floating islands made out of reeds. They were really bizarre. We also had a ride in a reed boat, before going on to Taquili the next island. I was seasick on the way. We got there and walked up a bit before getting to a house where we got a show of some traditional dances, which was nice even though it was obviously quite fake. Had lovely fresh trout for lunch before having a walk around and getting back on the boat, then having dinner before getting on the night bus.
