Had an absolutely amazing time in Chile. There were so many activities in San Pedro. The first day that we were there, we went to the lunar valley. Firstly we had a walk through death valley and watched the sandboarders, then we went to some salt caves. Then we went and watched sunset over the lunar valley, and the whole valley turned a bright red colour -amazing. The next day we hired sandboards and bikes and cycled to death valley, which is supposed to be one of the best places to sandboard in the world. It was so much fun, even though i falied miserably at it. The next day we got up at 3:30am to go on a sunrise trip to some geysers. We werent quite prepared for how cold it was going to be - getting out of hot springs into the freezing cold air was not great, but overall it was so much fun. Then had an astronomy tour where we cuold look through telescopes and get a really good view of the stars.
San Pedro itself was great too, if very touristy! Had some amazing food and chilean wine, and overall had an amazing few days there.
