NEW YEARS EVE!!!! Well this was definitely a day and a night to remember I had got up early and headed to Mrs Macquarie's Point which was supposedly the best place to head to watch the spectacle which would start at around 10pm, but after finding a spot I decided I didn't want to sit there for around 10 hours on my own and I didn't think I would get the best pictures. Day 45 I had a nice lie-in before heading over to Darling Harbour which was incredibly nice and modern but with lots of gardens, including the Chinese Gardens and the Tumbalong Gardens with many different styles of water features all along the harbour edge. Similar to the Yarra River in Melbourne, Darling Harbour offers people the chance to dine/drink or shop in a great location that looks over to the city's CBD but has a little bit less noise and a lot more sun....

Day 44 my flat were planning on going to the beach but unfortunately it was a bit cloudy so we thought we would leave it for a couple of days and go when it is really hot, obviously I'm not saying it isn't hot now it was 26 degrees today which was nice but a bit cool.
