Koh Tao

After a 15 hour train journey, 8 hour coach journey and 2 hours in the ferry we made it to Koh Tao, the most beautiful island ever. Our hotel couldn’t have been in a better location, right on the beach.
The beach was all we ever imagined Thai islands to be, deserted white sand beach, turquoise water, palm trees and long tail boats, swings and hammocks, so peaceful!
It was just what we needed after all the craziness of city.
After a quick rest we went and hired our first scooter and explored the island. It was quite easy as the island had one main road from one side to the other with a few dirt tracks coming off along the way. It took us an hour to see the whole island. We visited all the beaches around including beautiful Sairee.

Snorkeling was the main attraction in Koh Tao so we decided its a must. We hit 5 diving spots with our guide including one called shark bay. Luckily we didn’t see any sharks!! To attract more fish our guide decided to through custard cream biscuits of which they loved oops!
