Gerry was up and about early as we wanted to get to Sangrada Familia early to avoid crowds (that's what it said in the book). Anyway we walked there having breakfast on the way - coffee and toasted sandwich. There was a queue when we got there at 10 past 9, fortunately we didn't know how long it was because we couldn't see the beginning. One hour later at about 10.15 am we got to the end of the queue. It truly is an amazing building/creation. Took lots of photos and despite our best efforts, we couldn't get up into the towers as the next lift we could have caught was 1.30 pm. So we then got aboard a bus which took us a different direction to the one yesterday. When we got back near to our hotel we got off. Tried to get a cable for my camera to I-pod but no-one seems to have them - hence lack of photos. We spent a couple of hours then reading up on the terrace/ pool and even had a dip in the pool - till about 7.30 pm. People don't eat out till late here, so we headed down around the Barri Gotic area again and weaver our way through the maze of streets and nooks and crannies till we found a nice restaurant with a free table - most of them filled with people. We had a nice meal - Gerry had Sea Bass with veg and fennel sauce and I had lamb blackstrap with veg risotto. Nice with a glass of Pinot Grigio! We then had to find our way home through the maze of streets. Lots of people out and about at 11 pm I don't seem to be able to turn the photo around - not very technical.

Lou There is an apple store in Barcelona. You would need to get the adaptor there. The cable would be in a camera store that sells canon. Google camera store Barcelona.
Sheryl Or if you have the white adaptors which you just put the sd card from your camera and plug directly into ipad.
