Made it to Picton after a great drive checked into our hotel and dropped off our rental car. After we went by the Eric Fox (9th oldest ship in the world) this ship is a perseveration project not a restoration project so nothing has been replaced. The ship is the only remaining original East Indiamen in the world. The last remaining troop transport for the Crimean war the only remaining Australia Convict transport ship and was the first ship to transport immigrants to New Zealand. It also had sailed around the world 36 times around the world in it life time. Tomorrow we take a ferry to Wellington on the north island so for those of you keeping track after the ferry crossing we will have used planes,trains, busses boats and cars to get around on this trip. Can't think of another type of common transport we haven't used.
