We went for another visit of the boulders today. Hung out there watching the waves, Andrea was picking up a shell and got her feet wet. After a change of shoes we went to look for some penguins at a near by nature reserve. We weren't disappointed, we saw lots of seals, sea lions and some penguins even saw some young ones and one was getting fed. Too cute. Went to see the boulders today; they were amazing! The huge boulders are concretions from the ocean floor. Our geologists friends will be jealous! I always wanted to see them after seeing the picture in my 2013 calendar. The day started windy and cool but got sunny and warm. Our many windowed "cabin", really a sizeable house got quite warm when we returned from Dunedin.

We made it to Moeraki. Andrea saw the famous boulders on a calendar and wanted to see them. I found our cabin we are staying at online and though it might be nice to stay in a cabin and not a motel room(Good call). Fabulous location great views! We suspect the cabins are owned by the owners of the motel. Doesn't really matter what a great view from the rooms here in the cabin.
