On our way to Picton I needed to take a break after driving one of the most windy and twisty roads I have ever driven in my life so we stopped at a cafe called The Paua Rock Cafe and we had a great Flat White while watching the ocean waves breaking on the rocky beach. We were given some unpolished paua shells from the owner of the cafe. (They use them on their patio as ash trays) then we went walking along the shore and found two more. Then on to Picton we went. Most of the hi way was along the ocean, great views.
