Went off to the night markets and it was around 4000 degrees still. Met some random American man that was standing by a cart eating a tarantula and offered us a leg. Kindly accepted...tasted like a stick. Mart then brought a snake on a stick...that tasted like crackling. Few hours on pub street watching the world go by and then flagged a tuk tuk..the man was very kind and asked us if we wanted any weed/mushrooms/opium he suggested we take it whilst eating a pizza. Politely declined. Last day in siem reap was spent just been lazzzzy. Lazed by the pool and ate spring rolls had some naps. Mart went down to book our bus for the morning, he'd booked the deluxe VIP bus then felt bad as it was so much more expensive so went back and changed it to the slow cheap bus.
The evening we found yin! He gave us a tuk tuk ride into town and tried to give it us for free. Mart insisted on giving him lots of money bless him. Still our favourite! Always smiling.went and purchased mart some elephant trousers (never thought I'd see the day) found out I'm getting pretty good at bartering too. Bumped into a couple from Cambridge and swapped travelling routes and stories... They started by doing the trans syberian vodka train from Russia-Mongolia-Beijing. Sounded fascinating! Had some 50 cent beers and I couldn't cope with how hot I was so back home to pack and sleep before a long early bus to phnom phen.
