Homeward bound! We decide to break up this last leg of the journey in Hamilton. We have been there before and really like the place.

We depart Adelaide at 10:30 with a good 5 1/2 hours drive ahead. We drive through beautiful lush green farmland with big gum trees. Our journey takes us through the back roads, lots of which are single lanes and we see very little traffic. Paddocks covered with irrigators remind us of New Zealand. Yellow canola fields cover the landscape.

We arrive in Hamilton just before 5 and quickly unpack before heading across the road to the botannic gardens to stretch our legs. The kids have a play at the park.

We have dinner at the motel. Mark enjoys a delicious steak and I have tender squid for dinner. We ate here last time and were surprised by how good food is. It is just as good this time!
