I was rapidly running out of time, so it meant we had to leave paradise...we got a mototaxi back to the main road this time. Got a bus that was waiting for us and once we got to Santa Marta we took a taxi to Taganga. Taganga is an old fishing village that had gained massive tourist attention over the past few years. It´s a popular diving destination too. We booked into our hostel and made our way down to town for lunch on the bay.
We watched some of the game and made it back for the end winning goal and celebrations. It was rather noteworthy to see the tv switched off and on came the salsa and immediately guys wanting to dance. We explored the hotel part of our hostel, we decided our accommodation was better, skipped the swim in the pool and played some pool in stead. We had the best Caiprinha outside of Brazil with a view of the town and bay...life couldn't get better.
We attempted to find some night life after we got ready to go out...well who would have thunk it...Taganga the big party town was dead on a Tuesday...so our night out turned into an early night.
