Another chance to wander around a great little Germany town, especially given the fantastic warm weather. The downside is that we have finished the cruising component of the tour and now onto Paris.

I have to say I enjoyed the many little towns we went through whilst in Germany. Whilst quaint is probably an off used term it does really describe what these towns do look like. Whilst I wouldn't want to live in the major cities I reckon I could live in one of these smaller ones....at least for a couple of months until the winter weather sets in.

Next we have 6 hour bus ride to Paris (wonderful....). We agree with Carol and Carl, we would rather stay on the boat for the return trip then head to Paris, oh well I can see a longer cruise coming up.

Had a nice walk around Trier especially the gardens behind one of the palaces, hence the many photos.
