Another walking tour followed by wine tasting. Bernkastel is famous for "Dr Wine", apparently a brew of medicinal qualities. The statue in the photo is dedicated to it and the photos of the cellar door are from the actual winery.

Whilst the town obviously is set up for tourist the prices are great compared to home for food and drinks (I'm sure there is another rate for the locals). Had a try of a few local Moselle's but a little too sweet for my palate, but I'm sure with an appropriate meal they would be fine. Very nice cellar though!
