Today was a lazy Sunday, we both laid in until 12pm! so sleepy from the bike ride yesterday.

It was a nice sunny day so we got some meat from good old woolworths & went to the Cairns eslpanade. There was a music event on again as it was mothers day in Australia. Was cute seeing all the families with their mums but it did make me miss the mum's back home.

Used the free barbecue which was brilliant, you press a button underneath & it turns on, takes about 5 mins to heat up and then you can start cooking.

We got our chicken skewers on and cooked them for about half an hour. We toasted our buns aswell which was nice.

Managed to find a table but we got kicked off by some aboriginal people! Ate on the grass in the end but it was sweet, a little picnic together on the park.

On the way home we brought a blender!

Tried it out straight away, mixed yoghurt with passion fruit and pineapple! :)

Didn't hear from Phil all weekend so we weren't sure if we were working Monday, i text him Sunday afternoon & he replied saying we weren't needed until Tuesday. So it was an extra bonus that we had Monday off.

Finally managed to skype with my dad! worth the wait, nice to see his face :)

We stayed up later than planned as we now have no work til Tuesday!
