Time to leave Paris, boo hoo for me! Goodbye to our lovely little apartment, there is good reason for Paris being one of the most visited cities in the world. The streets are busy, really busy. The grandeur of the city and the extravagance of the buildings is something I am in awe of. Paris is a great city to walk in, there is something unexpected around every corner.

We catch the Eurostar to London, a cab to pick up our car and set off for Hartlepool on the North-East coast of England. We are staying for 4 nights so Noel can show the kids where he grew up and catch up with some relatives and friends.

We only got lost once getting out of London, a minor miracle me thinks.

After a 2 1/2 hour train trip (recommended) and a 5 hour drive (not recommended), we arrived at Hartlepool at 9pm, exhausted and fall into bed.
