Hola Amigos Had an interesting day today here in Nazca. This morning we had a tour which first took us to the local Gold Miner. Very surreal as we were greeted with a guitar accompanied rendition of 'Strangers in the Night'! From here we went to the local pottery. Here they demonstrated the ancient Nazcan techniques. Then we went to the Chauchilla Cemetery where they have found a number of preserved Nazcan mummies, a couple of thousand years old. It was interesting but quite eerie. In the afternoon we had our flight over the Nazca lines. Unfortunately we had to go in separate planes but we enjoyed it. Back in Nazca we watched the footy (Rooney!) what a great match! Off to Arequipa tonight, Love Ben and Hels xxxx
