Once again we woke up ready Tom leave for 5 to get a local bus to Udaipur. This was also a 7-8 hour journey. It wasn’t as comfy as the last one but did take a comfort break on the way. This was also my first siteing of monkeys! There was monkeys and cows sitting together on the side of the road.
We eventually arrived at Udaipur station where we got tuk tuks to our hotel on the opposite side of the river!
Udaipur is famous worldwide for its breathtaking lakes and Rajera palaces. Most famous of these is the Lake Palace an island palace where the building is only white marble, it sits on the Pichola Lake.
We then did a sun set boat trip on the Pichola lake, which was so so beautiful. The Lake Palace was glistening over the vast lake. This was a relaxing activitie which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
After the boat, we went to an artists house which was also a hotel too. Here he showed us all the beautiful work he had created by hand. It was so intricate that you needed a magnifying glass to see the details! Here he discussed different activities we could sign up for the next day. I signed up to Yoga, henna and a cooking class.
After this we all went for food and had a good nights sleep.
