Today me and Emmanuel went and found a bakery early morning, I bought a really delicious banana bread bun! We then met the group at 8 ready to travel to the station. We took a small coach to the station
We arrived at the station at 9, it was far more civilised than the stations in Delhi. It was much cleaner and there was no homeless sleeping on the platforms. I always find it so strange how some people carry there suitcases with wheels on there heads... that is what the wheels are for so it’s easy to drag.
We finally arrived in Kozhikode, but was still two hours away from Kalpetta which was our final destination. Our coach picked us up from the station and on route we stopped for a big lunch as we were not having dinner that day. I had an amazing chicken biryani which arrived in a clay pot with a nann bread folded over the top as a lid. It was soooo delicious!
We finally reached our home stay.the old couple that owned it where so hospitable! That evening we went for a walk and managed to get lost on the way back as it started to get dark and we were in the mountains. We also had a few beers then went to bed!
