Today we had breakfast in the hotel and I also got my laundry done. We then went to explore this magnificent Amber Fort overlooking an artificial lake, famous for its unique mixture of Hindu and Muslim architectur.
We got tuk tuks from the hotel, they all really struggled to get up the hill to the fort. We eventually reached the top of the hill. The fort was massive and you could see for miles, you could also see the little blue houses that day within the village. Girri said that there are not as many blue houses anymore as times have changed.
We entered the fort and split into two groups. One group did a tour of the fort and the other did zip lining around the fort. I decided to go zip lining as I had seen so many forts up until now.
We arrived at the zip line desk where they showed us how to work them. It was very different to how I zip line at home. We had gloves on but you had to hold the top of the line and you had to break yourself, it was quite tricky as you had to press on the top of the wire as hard as you can! Was a very strange way of doing it.
We did 6 different lines around the fort, it had some amazing views. The last one was definitely my favourite as you could see the blue city. We also had a Chinese man who followed us all the way round with a massive camera, he found us all so interesting!
The rest of the day was a chilled day before leaving early for a train the next day.
