We left Utah, with sadness in our hearts, well, mine anyways!! On to Colorado and RMNP!! The temperature was creeping back up to the 100's as we rolled along the dusty desert highway! There was not much color in the hills until we started getting closer to Colorado and started climbing the mt roads. The structure of the hills didn't seem to change much, they just became more and more green, the shrubs changed to trees and before you knew it we were atop the Mts passing ski resorts and tall, tall pines! Then the descent began into the Boulder area, and it seemed as if we were atop a plateau with fields as far as you could see! Headed north from there and the. Limb began again as we headed to our destination of Estes park, Co, right near the rocky mt nat'l park, it was a slow winding trek, and the rv and driver were pretty tired, we made it to the rv park, greeted by elk grazing in the pasture and a backdrop of snow covered Rockies!! Beautiful!
