We crossed the mighty Mississippi this morning and then headed north along the Mississippi valley. We passed miles and miles of farmland on both sides of the road, incredibly green and lush.
We made it to Hot Springs AK nat'l park, it was a small but interesting area. The water comes out of the springs at 140 degrees, there were a couple of spots where we could touch the water, it was HOT! Toured a bathhouse museum., there r still operating bathhouses,, but we opted not to stay and bathe!! Staying nearby at a small cozy campground! Burgers on the grill! Mmmmm!
