So I will eventually catch up on the whole of Australia... honest! At least I'm almost up to date with New Zealand!

Taupo.

Went to see Huka falls! Taupo is really nice... but it's all about paying to do watersports really.. of which we didn't do... So we didn't really do that much! Went to The Honey Hive... To taste some free honey! Went to a bakery.. the smell was so warm and inviting!

Lake Taupo.

Drove round Lake Taupo to get to Turangi! Decided not to go there as it was raining and went straight to Lake Rotopounami. Actually drove past it the first time... There's no sign! One of the most boring walks around a lake I've ever done! It was raining and cold as well... so not that enjoyabe! Bringing waterproof trouser was worth it in the end! Decided to get a campsite in Whakapapa. So.... From there you are supposedly meant to be able to see *Mount Doom* from Lord of The Rings, however... Not whilst we were there! It was a shame about the weather... The fog was so thick you couldn't see the top!

So we still couldn't see Mount Ngauruhoe and we couldn't do the Tongariro Crossing because the weather was so bad! They wouldn't let you! Back on State Highway 40 to... Okahune...Carrot capital of New Zealand... What a claim to fame?! SO we stopped in a motel car park that night... Twas pretty strange as there was a private do on that night so everyone was looking at us a little strange! However, it was worth staying there the night... We got free dessert! They had leftovers from the party, so there we were sat in the laundry keeping warm and one of the waiters came in to get something and he felt sorry for us!

Wellington.

Mangaged to get a little lost in the city. Oops. Up to the top of Mount Victoria for breakfast! Quite a nice view really! Back down to the city.... Went to Te Papa Museum.... National Museum of New Zealand! Pretty interesting really! Booked the ferry to Picton. $220 - rip! Wellington is quite nice though.

Not so much to say here. A ferry's a ferry! The scenery on the ferry to Picton was GORGEOUS! The ferry goes through Marlborough Sound which was pretty sweet! Almost lost my hat whilst on the ferry.... Three men ended up running for it! Oops.

Welcome to the South Island!

Took the Queen Charlotte Drive to Nelson! Really windy and steep roads.. Beethoven (the camper) didn't like them. But the views made up for it! Had some more foul wine. OK, it was $6.

More good views! Stopped off at a "Scenic Lookout"... The whole drive is a scenic lookout really! Kind of bored of taking pictures of me + the backdrop! Continued on the road to Nelson.

We walked to the centre of New Zealand, in Nelson. Pretty steep to get to the actual point! Stopped at a campsite that night.... Everyone staying there seemed to be living there for good! Decided to go to the cinema. Saw The Secret Life of Bees. Pertty good! There were only 10 of us in the cinema, yet we were all squashed into the seats at the back!

Nelson -> Abel Tasman National Park!

Quite a good drive! Drove to Motueka. Booked our AquaTaxi into the National Park! Then to Kaiteriteri... Supposedly one of the top five beaches in the world according to the UK Guardian.. I wouldn't say so!
