Went for a horse trek in Te Anau. The horses were ferrel so it wasn't really that much fun after they'd thrown two kids off! Was funny listening to the owners excuses as to why it happened!

So the drive to Milford Sound is as good as they say it is! Some cool waterfalls, mirroring lakes, tunnels through mountains, and, sandflies- not good! Not much else I can say! They say it's one of the most scenic drives in the world. They're not wrong! Did about 8 hours driving that day! So we stopped in Gore before heading to Dunedin!

There wasn't really that much in Dunedin. It's a place to be at night! Dunedin is supposedly the Edinburgh of New Zealand. I wouldn't say so. They do try though with all the Scottish shops!

Otago Peninsula.

Went to Larnoch Castle on the way. You can't really say it's a castle. I wasn't impressed. England knows how to do castles. The gardens were quite nice though! Felt quite out of place! Then to see some sealions. Done. Seals. Done. Food. And back at dusk to see the penguins come in! We were lucky. It's the wrong time of season to be looking for penguins. But we did see three at Pilot Beach!
