7:15am. Had to get the luggage out in the hall for pick up. Very hard to get up. Went back to sleep and then up again at 8:15. We showered, ate one last breakfast of French toast and hash browns (same thing everyday) and then boarded the bus for the airport. I think everyone made it to the plane okay. Wolf thought he lost his passport and almost had a heart attack, but after five people dug through his stuff, it was found. Then, Benny realized that they tore off one too many tickets on the way from Seoul to Shanghai and that he had no return ticket! He got that all taken care of pretty quickly with Laura's help and we were off to America!

It’s 11:30am LA time, 3 ½ hours into the flight. For some reason I’m still not very sleepy. It’s a very noisy flight and actually dark out right now. I’m working on my fourth cocktail. They just dimmed the lights for the movie. Hopefully people will shut up and the alcohol will take effect. I’ve got too much work to do when I get home to be jet lagged. I put on the classical music station and am about to don the sleeping mask. Maybe I’ll do some reading to put me to sleep first. Hope the tactics work…

…I didn’t get much sleep on the plane but finally landed in LA. It was a great trip but I’m glad to be home. No time to rest – I’ve got three papers due this week. Welcome home!
