We arrived in Phuket Town, Phuket on the 27th of January at about 1130 PM after a very long day of travel from Koh Phangan. We went nearly 41 hours without sleep since we partied through the night prior to this traveling (huge mistake). The next day after Phuket Town we took a local bus (essentially just a pickup truck with benches and walls and a roof) to a place called Patong. Patong is the busiest, most touristy place on Phuket from what I understand and after being there I really don't doubt it. We unknowingly booked a hostel that's on Bangla road, which turned out to be the main strip for the nightlife there, they even shut it down completely to cars. It wasn't so bad since bangla road leads right to the beach, so we were about a 2 minute walk from it. It was definitely one of the most busy beaches I've ever been to though, absolutely swarmed with people from end to end. There isn't really a whole lot to do in Patong other than party, so we went clubbing one night and then just took er easy the next. I probably wouldn't go back to Phuket if I had the opportunity but it was definitely a nice place.
